MaDVD, whose real name is Brian Kimaru, is a Kenyan actor who rose to fame with his role in the Citizen TV series Machachari.
Published on August 19, 2021, on Tuko, Kimaru's story has been a subject of interest among fans who have been following his journey.
MaDVD played the role of an ordinary guy selling compact disks and fell in love with Sofia, a househelp, in the series.
However, before the show was scrapped off, Kimaru had taken a break and silently exited the spotlight.
Today, he is based in the UK and has a family of his own.

MaDVD has on numerous occasions posted photos while referring to himself as an MP, perhaps indicating that he would one day vie for the seat in Kenya.
He captioned one of his photos in April: “Looking like an MP is not easy. You better get used to your legislator early.”
MaDVD was elated after meeting a Kenyan taxi driver in the UK in May.
He shared a video listening to mugithi music in the cab, saying: “Respect Kikuyus. These guys are everywhere. Despite being in the UK, this driver is playing mugithi in his cab.”
MaDVD is married and often shares photos with his lovely wife on social media.
He seems to be keeping in touch with his Kenyan roots as he often speaks Sheng in his social media videos.
The last time he was in the country was in 2020.
MaDVD is learned as he graduated from a foreign university in 2017.
