Boy Arrested for Fatal Confrontation with Father Over School Admission

On Monday night, a 17-year-old boy in Nandi County, Kenya, allegedly confronted his father, Vincent Chepkwony, over his reluctance to enroll him in secondary school.

According to a police report, the confrontation escalated into a physical fight, and the boy hit his father on the head with a club.

Police have arrested the teenager and are conducting investigations into the incident.

On Tuesday, the father was taken to a county health centre in Meteitei, where he received first aid, but he was later transferred to Kapsabet County Hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

Health officers reported that the father had lost too much blood.
