On July 2, 2019, celebrity Jalang'o shared a heartfelt tribute to the late Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, who passed away after battling leukemia.
According to Jalang'o, Collymore had gifted him his first green suit, which he still treasures to this day.
Sharing the story on his Instagram account, Jalang'o wrote, 'I remember when I was chosen to be part of the 'Niko na Safaricom' campaign, I was already wearing my favorite one-piece suit to every event. But Collymore suggested I wear at least one of his signature green suits.'
Despite owning several green suits, Jalang'o confessed that he still wears the one gifted by Collymore with pride.
Collymore's passing was met with an outpouring of tributes from across the country, with many leaders and celebrities sharing their condolences.
