July 30, 2021 - StarTimes has taken its entertainment content to the next level by introducing new shows and channels to its pay television platform. The move aims to provide subscribers with a diverse range of content at no extra cost to their monthly subscription rates.
The broadcaster has added Fashion TV Africa, a channel that showcases the best of African fashion and style. With over 500 hours of content updates per year, the channel will take fashion enthusiasts on a journey across the African fashion industry, highlighting the diverse cultures and styles found on the continent.
According to StarTimes Regional Marketing Director, Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga, subscribers can look forward to Fashion TV Africa's flagship content, including popular shows such as MISS South Africa, Africa Top Models, and African celebrities. The channel will also feature themed events, fashion weeks, and fashion parties, showcasing Africa's taste for style and culture.
StarTimes has also introduced one of the most popular Philippine dramas, 'Brothers', which is airing on ST Novela E plus channel every day of the week from 8:50 pm. The drama revolves around crime, action, and romance, and has over 600 episodes produced so far, with over 100 awards to its name.
For drama-loving subscribers, StarTimes has also rolled out a new horror-fantasy drama, The Blood Moon, which will air on ST Novela E plus channel every day of the week from 9:40 pm. Top-billed by the popular love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, the series also features the special participation of International Emmy-nominated actress Angel Locsin.
