Published on July 27, 2021, media personality Jalang'o has spoken out about why he keeps his three children private, citing the need to protect their innocence and avoid unwanted scrutiny.
Speaking in an interview with Ayo TV, Jalang'o explained that he doesn't want his children to be subject to trolls and scrutiny just because he is a public figure.
'I have one child and my ex-girlfriend's child, and my wife and I have two children,' Jalang'o said. 'But I don't like talking about my family or children who have never been seen online.'
He added that he doesn't want people to treat his children differently because of their father's fame, saying, 'I don't want people, her teachers to treat her differently cause she is Jalang'o's daughter.'
As a result, Jalang'o has stopped posting pictures of his children on social media, citing regret for exposing his daughter a few years ago.
'I actually regret posting my daughter on social media,' he said. 'One, I don’t know if that is what she would have liked, two, for her privacy's sake and three I don’t want people, her teachers to treat her differently cause she is Jalang'o’s daughter.'
He also shared a heartwarming story about his son, Jamail Edward, who has taken to calling himself 'King Otuchi'.
