Comedian YY Comedian (Oliver Otieno) has completed a house for his mother in the village, a testament to his love and appreciation for her. The comedian had been working on the project in secret, but proudly shared the news on his Instagram, captioning it 'No Long post Alert….NAKUPENDA MAMA YANGU❤❤❤ '

Noticing the comedian's good deed, musician and entrepreneur Esther Akoth congratulated him, saying that not many men would go to such lengths for their mothers. She noted that some prominent people wouldn't reciprocate their parents' efforts in building their career, instead choosing to live lavish lifestyles in the city.

Esther Akoth's comments were in response to YY Comedian's earlier revelation about the struggles he and his mother faced after his father's passing. The comedian had shared that they lived in a house made of mud, where raindrops would spill on them whenever it rained. But thanks to YY Comedian's hard work, his mother will no longer have to suffer.

Published on July 27, 2021, at 9:41 am, this heartwarming story is a reminder of the importance of family and the impact that one person can have on another's life.
