Media personality Jalang'o has sparked controversy after refuting claims that he is worth Sh10 million. Speaking in an interview on Ayo TV, the comedian rubbished the reported figure, saying it is the price of one of his cars.
According to Jalang'o, Sh10 million is the price of a V8 car, which is just one of his many vehicles. He also owns a house and several apartments in Nairobi, which he uses for Airbnb due to its popularity in the city.
When asked about his greatest achievement, Jalang'o revealed that it is building a house for his mother. He shared a touching story about how his late father left behind a letter asking him to build his mother a house and educate his siblings.
After fulfilling his father's dying wish, Jalang'o went back to school to pursue a degree. He said that he could now afford to go to school after his brothers graduated, his sister married, and everyone was settled down.
On July 27, 2021, Jalang'o spoke out against the Sh10 million net worth claims, stating that it is just the price of one of his cars.
