Media personality Betty Kyallo has made a surprise U-turn on her plans to run for the Nairobi Women's Representative seat in the 2022 General Elections.
Initially, she had expressed interest in the seat, but now she says she's not ready to dip her toes in politics.
'There is a lot of pressure from a lot of people to run for office, but I don’t feel I’m ready this time,' she said in a recent interview.
Instead, she's focusing on building her brand as a mum, entrepreneur, and human being, and exploring opportunities that her brand might present.
'I feel like I’m getting to know who Betty Kyallo is for real,' she said.
She's reportedly working on a reality show that will premiere soon.
