On 26th June, ODM leader Raila Odinga announced that his party had resolved to share its share of monies from Political Parties with coalition partners, a move that came after Wiper, ANC, and Ford-Kenya protested ODM's refusal to share the funds.

However, the move may have come too late as Wiper has officially left the National Super Alliance (Nasa), with party leader Kalonzo Musyoka announcing the decision.

According to Kalonzo, the party's National Executive Council unanimously ratified the decision to pull out of the coalition.

“Today we held our Party National Executive Council meeting where a unanimous decision was taken to pull out of the NASA coalition,” Kalonzo said.

Wiper will now focus on the One Kenya Alliance (OKA), a coalition that includes ANC boss Musalia Mudavadi, Kanu chairman Gideon Moi, and Ford-Kenya's Moses Wetangula.

ANC and Ford-Kenya have also indicated that they will pull out of the coalition, leaving ODM in isolation.

The coalition stands dissolved if three partners leave, and it appears that this may be the case.

Wiper leader Kalonzo extended an olive branch to Raila to join OKA, saying “While exiting NASA we welcome ODM to join OKA for a more inclusive coalition as we prepare to form the next Government. Jubilee continues as our cooperation partner,”
