Gor Mahia's struggles continued on Monday, July 26, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Ulinzi Stars at the ASK Showground in Nakuru, marking their sixth consecutive loss.

Ulinzi Stars' Alex Masinde scored the lone goal in the first half, securing a crucial win for the soldiers and propelling them to 10th place in the standings, while Gor Mahia remained seventh.

The loss is a significant blow to Gor Mahia's season, which has been marred by the departure of head coach Carlos Manuel vaz Pinto and midfielder Kenneth Muguna. Stand-in coach Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo had expressed hopes of a top-four finish, but the team's performance suggests that goal may be out of reach.

Despite a spirited effort, Gor Mahia was unable to find the equalizer, with keeper James Saruni making several crucial saves to secure his 12th clean sheet of the season.
