On a sweltering Sunday afternoon in Thika, Kenya, KCB made a significant statement in the BetKing Premier League, defeating Kariobangi Sharks 3-0 and narrowing the gap to leaders Tusker FC to just one point.
Having dropped points in their previous match against Mathare United, KCB's victory was a much-needed boost to their title credentials.
Samwel Mwangi broke the deadlock in the fifth minute, and the Brewers never looked back, with Baraka Badi and Mike Oduor scoring in quick succession in the second half to seal the win.
