On Saturday, July 24, 2021, a police officer's life was cut short in a shocking incident that has left investigators scrambling for answers. David Kulgat, a police constable assigned to Kiptagich Police Station, was found dead shortly after visiting a middle-aged woman named Lucy Chepkorir at her residence in Olenguruone, Nakuru county.
Confirming the incident, Kuresoi South OCPD Henry Nyaraga stated that detectives would continue detaining Chepkorir to assist in the investigation. The officer's remains were transferred to Olenguruone Hospital for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
According to Nyaraga, the autopsy report would be crucial in determining whether Chepkorir would be linked to Kulgat's death or not. The intention behind Kulgat's visit to Chepkorir's house remains unclear, adding to the mystery surrounding the incident.
