Safaricom, Kenya's leading telecommunications provider, has announced that it will be upgrading its systems over the weekend of July 24-25, 2021.
According to a statement issued on Saturday, July 24, the company will be making some of its services unavailable from 10pm on Saturday to allow for a smooth upgrade.
The affected services include product purchases, balance enquiry, Okoa Jahazi, Tunukiwa, all Bonga Point services, and Post Paid Payment.
However, all other services, including calls, data, M-PESA, and SMS, will remain available as usual.
Subscribers seeking to pay their Home Fiber on Saturday will have to wait until Sunday, July 25, at 8am.
