On July 24, 2021, Telkom's T-kash payment option became available on the eCitizen platform, allowing users to pay for all government services, including obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate.
To get a Police Clearance Certificate, follow these steps:
- Visit https://accounts.ecitizen.go.ke to access the eCitizen Portal.
- Find the portal for the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and select Get-Service.
Once logged in, select 'owner' if the certificate is for yourself or your child under 18, and confirm the information and payment details. The total amount should be KES 1050.
Choose the areas where your fingerprints will be taken, including the specific location and Huduma center. T-Kash by Telkom is an option for payment.
Pay using either USSD or SIM Toolkit, with the USSD code being 160#. Once paid, click Finish and set a day to visit the Huduma Centre to have your information collected. After that, you'll go get your certificate.
