At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Kenyan boxer Nick Okoth faced off against Mongolian Tsendbaatar Erdenebat in a round of 32 bout on Saturday.

Erdenebat emerged victorious with a split decision of 3-2, having won the first and third sets 3-2, while Okoth edged him in the second round, also 3-2.

Okoth's loss marked the end of his Olympic journey.
