Published on July 24, 2021, socialite Amber Ray has confirmed that her relationship with matatu boss Jimal Roho Safi has come to an end.
According to a question and answer session on Amber's Instagram stories, the two were unable to amicably resolve their differences, leading to their breakup.
Amber, whose real name is Faith Makau, did not disclose the real reason behind their sudden separation, fueling speculation that Jimal had returned to his first wife, Amira.
Amira had previously predicted their breakup, labeling their relationship as 'emaembe ni ya msimu,' meaning Amber's time would end and she would be left.
Amber also addressed rumors about her being allegedly dumped, posting a cryptic message that read, 'But why kill yourself over a dude that's gonna be your brother when Jesus comes…#moyomashine #amberthebrand.'
When asked if she regrets fighting for Jimal on the night that turned chaotic, Amber clarified that she was fighting for herself and not for the man.
‘Actually I was fighting for me. Ata saa hii mtu akinikanyaga napita na yeye (even now if someone crosses my lane I’ll deal with them),’ she wrote.
