Kenya Cup leaders KCB will face a stiff test today as they host eighth-placed Mwamba RFC at the KCB Sports Club, while Kabras Sugar will seek to extend their unbeaten run to six matches when they host Menengai Oilers at Nandi Bears Grounds.

With Western and Nyanza region counties barred from hosting sporting activities due to Covid-19 containment measures, Kabras Sugar and MMUST RFC have moved their home matches to Nandi Bears Club in Nandi County.

According to Kabras captain Dan Sikuta, the team is looking forward to registering their sixth consecutive win of the season at the new home ground.

"We have been playing well since the season started and despite the stoppages occasioned by Covid-19, the boys have continued to adapt and improve. It is this determination and drive that will propel us to victory," Sikuta told The Standard Sports.

MMUST RFC will play Kenya Harlequin in an early kick-off match (12pm) at the same grounds.

As Kabras Sugar seeks to keep pressure on KCB, they are currently second on the log with 25 points, three behind leaders KCB but with a game in hand.
