Google has rolled out a new privacy feature that lets users instantly delete their search history on mobile phones. This feature was first announced at the Google I/O 2021 conference.

On mobile, users can now delete their search history for the last 15 minutes, a feature previously only available on desktop with a few limitations.

According to Google, the company only tracks user search history to personalize their experience when the 'Web and App Activity' setting is enabled. Users also have the option to password protect their search history.

With this new feature, users can enjoy the benefits of instant search history deletion without having to go through multiple steps.
