Hot96 has chosen Nick Odhiambo as the new host to replace Prof Hamo on the Hot 96 Breakfast Show, starting July 21, 2021.

Prof Hamo, whose real name is Herman Kago, parted ways with the station in May 2021.

According to Kenyans.co.ke, Nick Odhiambo will host the Breakfast Show alongside Citizen TV presenter Jeff Koinange.

Before joining Hot 96, Nick Odhiambo worked at Radio Maisha, where he hosted the RHUMBA show for four years.

He announced his departure from Radio Maisha on June 22, 2021, stating, 'Today’s my final RHUMBA show on air after 4 years at @radiomaisha! did I ever think I’d switch to Swahili radio? NOPE, but the opportunity came and I took it.'

As a voice-over artist, Nick has featured in several commercial advertisements.

Prof Hamo, on the other hand, has been running his own personal show since his departure from Hot 96.
