Hamilton Wins British Grand Prix After Collision with Verstappen ¶
On July 18, 2021, Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, but the victory was overshadowed by a collision with Max Verstappen on the first lap.
Hamilton attempted to overtake Verstappen on Copse corner, but the two cars touched wheels, and Verstappen's Red Bull went off the track and into the barrier. Hamilton continued driving with a broken wheel rim.
