Published on July 18, 2021, Eric Omondi sparked a heated debate in the entertainment industry after he claimed that the industry was struggling. In response, Khaligraph Jones has joined the attack against Ezekiel Mutua, the CEO of the Kenya Film Classification Board.
On his Instagram page, Khaligraph Jones posted a video of himself holding bundles of money to his ears, pretending to be calling Eric Omondi, who is currently on tour in Tanzania.
“Heshimu Kipaji. Had a short conversation with my friend Eric Omondi concerning the current situation in our Industry,” Khaligraph Jones posted.
He also claimed that Ezekiel Mutua was disappointed by his remarks and that they would resolve the situation.
However, Khaligraph Jones was not done yet. He also joined Eric Omondi in blasting Ezekiel Mutua, claiming that he was a pathological liar and that he had no right to call the entire industry ‘maskini ambao hawajiwezi’.
“Hakuna pesa alitoa. Omondi ni maskini…hizo ni sarakasi za kujionesha. Wanafanya hizo sarakasi waoneshe wanakejeli serikali lakini hakuna pesa ya kweli,” Khaligraph Jones said.
Eric Omondi, who is currently in Tanzania, responded to Khaligraph Jones’ claims by flashing Sh3 million in foreign currency spread across his hotel room to show that the entertainment industry was still very lucrative.
“Enough!!! We have to stop this Nonsense!!! All the money I make is through blood and Sweat, most of the money you make is through Misappropriation of Public funds. Kama mimi ni Maskini basi wewe ni mwizi, wa pesa za serikali,” Eric Omondi wrote on his Instagram page.
