On July 17, 2021, Caroline Kangogo, a police officer, was found dead at her parents' home in Iten, Elgeyo-Marakwet County.
According to reports, she fatally shot herself in the head.
Her husband has since spoken out about the incident, stating that their children are safe but devastated by the loss.
