July 16, 2021, marked a new era in the world of gospel music as Kisii-based artist Geoffrey Magembe took to the mud, mirroring the antics of Embarambamba.

Geoffrey Magembe, a gospel musician from Kisii, has been making waves with his unique take on spreading the good news of Jesus Christ – by getting down and dirty in the mud.

Originally, many thought Magembe was either mad or drunk due to his crazy escapades in the mud and hazy waters. However, it appears he's simply trying to keep up with the times.

Not everyone on social media is pleased with Magembe's gags, with Twitter bigwig Abraham Mutai advising him to quit the stunts and get more creative in his craft. Others have trolled him for copying Embarambamba.

Despite the backlash, Magembe remains undeterred, continuing to whirling and fiddling in the mud, much to the amusement of his fans.
