On July 16, 2021, Caroline Kangogo, a rogue cop wanted for two murders, tragically died in an apparent suicide at her parents' home in Keiyo, Rift Valley.
According to Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya, Kangogo arrived at her home around 5am but did not enter the house. She then went to the bathroom and took her own life around 7am.
Natembeya noted that it was challenging to apprehend Kangogo due to her knowledge of the police force.
