On July 13, 2021, police discovered the lifeless bodies of two children in a thicket in Spring Valley, Westlands, Nairobi.
The children, who were reported missing in Buruburu on June 30 and July 1, 2021, were found dead after a thorough investigation by the police.
A key suspect in the abductions and murders was arrested and led detectives to the scene where the minors' bodies were dumped.
According to a DCI officer stationed at Gigiri, investigations revealed that the children were kidnapped from Buruburu and murdered after failed ransom demands.
The children's bodies were taken to a Nairobi morgue for post-mortem examination.
