On July 12, 2021, a 30-year-old woman was found dead in her house in Kabati estate, Naivasha, with more than 20 used condoms in the room.
According to a neighbour, Jessica Njeri, the woman had been seen at a local bar on Sunday night with a man, and it's suspected that the two may have had a relationship.
Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru confirmed the incident, stating that the police had collected the body and were pursuing the man in question.
Waweru added that the police had obtained fingerprints from the scene and had launched a manhunt for the suspect.
"We have opened inquest files in the case and we have launched a manhunt for the suspect in the case where a woman was found dead in Naivasha town," Waweru said.
