According to detectives pursuing her case, rogue colleagues may be hiding her or leaking intelligence to her, which is believed to be the reason why she remains at large.
Investigations have uncovered an intricate web of rogue officers operating under two syndicates in the Rift Valley, one of which Cpl Kangogo was part of. These syndicates are allegedly involved in robberies, extortion, and protection of politicians and business people in various towns, including Nakuru, Eldoret, Kapsabet, and Kericho.
Furthermore, investigators believe that up to four more people may have been involved in the killing of the two men whose murder has been blamed on Kangogo.
Another theory suggests that the belief that the two men may have been romantically involved with Cpl Kangogo was a smokescreen, and that there was more to the murders.
