July 13, 2021, marked a significant milestone for popular actor Omosh as he prepares to receive a brand new house constructed by Sung Timber. The three-bedroom bungalow features an American open plan kitchen, a testament to the generosity of Ms. Kathy Andrews, the CEO of Sung Timber.
Ms. Andrews, along with comedian and radio presenter Jalang'o, will hand over the keys to Omosh's new home. Kenyans have taken to social media to commend Ms. Andrews for following through on her promise to build Omosh a new home.
"The chief guest will be Jalang'o. He and Omosh made peace and he will be there to officiate the handing over," Ms. Andrews said.
Notable Kenyan comedian Ndungu Nyoro praised the gesture, saying, "Finally, a home for OMOSH. When you decide to offer a gift to someone in need please do it in a way you will smile at your good work after you are done with all the sweating. Something that will show love and sacrifice. Even God in heaven will be smiling at your work."
However, Omosh has vowed not to sell the house to fund his drinking lifestyle, as has been alleged in the media. "I cannot sell a present, that would be a curse. From where I come, we don’t sell or give away gifts to third parties so let them talk," he said.
A few weeks ago, Omosh had sparked controversy when he claimed that he had run broke despite receiving over Sh. 1 million in donations from well wishers.
