On Saturday, 10th July, Vera Sidika's husband Brown Mauzo failed to attend the gender reveal party, sparking speculation about their relationship. However, Manzi wa Kibera, a loyal fan of Vera's, attended the party to represent her fans, as promised by Vera on her Instagram before the event.
According to Manzi wa Kibera, the reason for Brown Mauzo's absence is rooted in a tradition that only allows women to attend the gender reveal party. Speaking on Mungai Eve's channel, Manzi wa Kibera explained:
”First, wakenya wacheni niwatoe ushamba. Gender-reveal is only for women. Unajua gender reveal, baba mtoto hafai kukuwa…”
Manzi wa Kibera also revealed that Vera fulfilled her promise by providing her with a bodyguard and a driver to take her to and from the party, which included a V8 vehicle and a bouncer.
It appears that Brown Mauzo was having a good time in the Coast during the ceremony, but his absence from the gender reveal party has been clarified by Manzi wa Kibera's explanation.
