As of July 12, 2021, Kenya's Covid-19 case load stood at 188,942, according to Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.

Nairobi recorded 128 new cases, followed by Kiambu with 10, Machakos with 9, and Siaya, Nakuru, and Kwale with 7 cases each.

A total of 1,062 patients were admitted in various health facilities, while 4,381 patients were under the Home Based Isolation and Care program.

The Ministry reported 341 new recoveries from Covid-19, with 250 from the Home Based and Isolation Care program and 91 from various health facilities.

The cumulative fatalities stood at 3,723, with one death reported by CS Kagwe, a late entry after conducting facility record audits in July 2021.

As of July 1, 1,547,092 vaccines had been administered across the country, with a total of 1,028,121 first doses and 518,971 second doses.
