Pelico Jam Stuns FC Talents with 2-2 Draw in Nairobi West FKF League

On a thrilling Sunday in the Nairobi West FKF League, Pelico Jam from Jamhuri Secondary School pulled off a stunning 2-2 draw against FC Talents at Kihumbuini.

Published on July 12, 2021, the match saw FC Talents take an early lead through Brian Mbera in the 4th minute and Nelson Ashira in the 19th minute.

However, Pelico Jam fought back with Lawrence Migere scoring in the 51st minute and Jotham Wise in the 75th minute to level the scores.

Speaking after the match, Pelico Jam coach Fred Amollo expressed his delight with the team's performance.

"Tough training sessions were the key to our success today," he said.

Elsewhere in the league, Red Carpet edged out Kuwinda United 2-0 in the Nairobi West Regional League, while Kibagare Spotiff defeated Kangemi Atletico 2-1 in the Nairobi County League.

Spotiff's win was thanks to goals from Nelson Mandela in the 14th minute and Hillary Kiplagat in the 54th minute. Atletico's consolation goal came from Maxwell Mukundi in the 47th minute.

Meanwhile, Dreams FC stunned FC Talents Youth 4-3 in another thrilling match.

Goals from Oliver Mbugua in the 35th minute and Clift Mogire in the 45th, 47th, and 54th minutes gave Dreams the win. FC Talents Youth responded with goals from Elius Ongesa in the 21st minute, Vincent Bukachi in the 33rd and 42nd minutes.
