Published on July 12, 2021, a warning has been issued about the use of GB WhatsApp, a modified version of the world's most widely used instant messaging app.

While WhatsApp itself has limitations, users have repeatedly asked for features that some of its spinoffs, like GB WhatsApp, offer. However, using these unofficial apps can come at a cost, including the risk of data and privacy breaches.

GB WhatsApp is a third-party app created by developers who wanted to add more features to WhatsApp. However, it has no connection to WhatsApp Inc and is not available on the Google Play Store.

Users can download GB WhatsApp as an APK, but this can be risky, as the source may not be reliable. The app offers additional features, including dual WhatsApp accounts, hiding read receipts, and sending high-resolution images.

However, WhatsApp warns against using third-party apps like GB WhatsApp, as they can get your original WhatsApp account banned permanently. According to WhatsApp's FAQs, 'Unsupported apps, such as WhatsApp Plus, GB WhatsApp, or apps that claim to move your WhatsApp chats between phones, are altered versions of WhatsApp. These unofficial apps are developed by third parties and violate our Terms of Service.'
