On July 12, 2021, the Football Association (FA) condemned racist abuse directed at Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho after the Euro 2020 final.

The players, all of whom are Black, faced a barrage of racist comments and abuse on social media following England's loss to Italy in the final.

The FA has since launched an investigation into the abuse and has vowed to take action against those responsible.
