July 11, 2021 - The COVID-19 positivity rate in Kenya has risen to 8.1%.
The new cases are distributed across various counties, with Nairobi recording 165 cases, followed by Kiambu with 16 cases, and Nyeri with 11 cases.
As of today, a total of 1,539,087 vaccines have been administered across the country, with 1,026,960 being first doses and 512,127 being second doses.
Unfortunately, one patient has succumbed to the disease, bringing the cumulative fatalities to 3,722.
Additionally, 1,401 patients have recovered, with 1,380 from Home-Based Isolation & Care, and 21 from various health facilities.
