On July 10, 2021, Vera Sidika hosted a lavish gender-reveal party in Karen, with several renowned artists in attendance. However, the party's success was marred by a dispute between Vera and one of her service providers, comedian Akuku Danger.
Akuku Danger, who had provided Vera with a sound system through his team, claimed that he had not received his full payment of KES 5,000. In an Instagram post, he expressed his frustration and disappointment at being left unpaid, despite having fulfilled his end of the bargain.
"VERA SIDIKA PAY YOUR SERVICE PROVIDERS‼️ Some of us it's the 'small money' that makes a difference in our livelihoods. I'm kindly asking you to pay me my balance of 5,000/= Which rightfully belongs to me! " Akuku Danger stated on his Instagram.
He also alleged that Vera's team had handled his team with disrespect, sending a group of bouncers, drunk lady friends, and a man named Victor to whisk them away, making insults at them. Akuku Danger claimed that the incident had left him in arrears, as his team was now demanding payment from him.
As of now, Vera Sidika has not commented on the issue.
