On July 8, 2021, the Kenya Reinsurance Corporation named Jennifer Karina as its new chairperson, marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career.
With over 40 years of experience in corporate leadership, Jennifer Karina is a renowned Psychologist, Certified Professional Coach, Energy Leadership Practitioner, and acclaimed Speaker & Author. She has been a thought leader in relationship strategies and has spent over three decades as a researcher.
Ms. Karina holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Durham University and a Higher Diploma in Psychological Counselling from the Kenya Institute of Professional Counselling. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Psychology at Kenyatta University.
Her extensive career spans various roles, including her early start at Dawa Pharmaceuticals Limited in 1977, followed by her tenure as Manager-Operations at Ljubljanska Bank East Africa Representative Office in 1982. She also served as a director at Narika Company Limited between 1998-2012 and as the Managing Director of Anchor Consult between 2005-2014.
Ms. Karina's appointment as chairperson of the Human Resources and Nominations Committee of the Kenya Reinsurance Board prior to her current role further underscores her expertise and dedication to the field.
