Published on July 11, 2021, a photo emerged of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria meeting with Nairobi tycoon Jimi Wanjigi, who has announced his candidacy for the presidency on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party ticket.
The meeting has left many wondering about the intentions behind it, especially since Wanjigi has been a long-time supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga and other prominent politicians.
"Held intense conversations with one of the leading ODM Presidential candidates about the future of Kenya. The Hustler Nation welcomes all," Kuria said in a statement.
Wanjigi, who has been a political entrepreneur and backer for several prominent politicians, including President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto, has validated that he would be active in the political scene and would not play the role of a Kingmaker anymore.
As an ODM life member, Wanjigi believes he has what it takes to lead the party and the country into the future, and he is running for the ODM ticket to take on Raila Odinga in the 2022 polls.
