AFCON 2019: Victor Wanyama Issues Warning to Sadio Mane Ahead of Kenya vs Senegal Clash

As Harambee Stars prepare to face Senegal in the AFCON 2019 quarterfinals, captain Victor Wanyama has issued a warning to the Lions of Teranga's star player Sadio Mane.

Wanyama, who has been instrumental in Kenya's success in the tournament, believes that his team has improved significantly and is ready to take on the best teams in Africa.

Speaking after Kenya's 3-2 win over Tanzania, Wanyama said, "Fainali ya mwisho ndiyo pia itakuwa ya mwisho kwetu. Mechi ya mwisho tutajitahidi kadri ya uwezo wetu kwa sababu tuna imani,"

Kenya is currently third in Group C with two points, while Senegal is second with four points. Algeria leads the group with six points.

Wanyama's warning to Mane comes after Kenya's impressive 3-2 win over Tanzania in their previous match. The Harambee Stars captain has been praised for his leadership and vision on the pitch, and his warning to Mane is a testament to his confidence in his team's abilities.

Kenya will face Senegal in the quarterfinals of the AFCON 2019 on July 1, 2019.
