July 9, 2021, marked another day in the ongoing saga of Caroline Kangogo, a police woman accused of murdering two men. Despite efforts by detectives to apprehend her, Kangogo remains at large.

According to reports, Kangogo was last spotted at Drive Inn near Mathare slums, where detectives laid a trap to catch her. However, she managed to evade capture.

Undeterred, detectives laid another trap for her at Kahawa Wendani, but Kangogo once again managed to slip away undetected.

Investigations have revealed that after committing her latest murder in Juja, Kangogo withdrew Sh. 40,000 from a bank in the area. This money has been used to facilitate her travels across counties, book hotels, and purchase supplies.

As detectives continue to investigate the matter, they suspect that Kangogo may have killed Peter Ndwiga after a deal gone sour. Ndwiga had sold Kangogo a car through dubious means, and she had demanded a refund, which he declined.

"We suspect that Kangogo may have demanded the money back but was ignored. It is a theory we are pursuing. We have factual leads. We are leaving nothing to chance. We have made good progress and I thank the DCI headquarters for their support and soon we shall make a breakthrough," said Juja DCIO boss Richard Mwaura.
