Kenya's Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe, announced that the country's Covid-19 case load now stands at 187,525, with a positivity rate of 10%.
The new cases were reported in various counties, with Nairobi recording 200 new cases, followed by Kericho with 64 cases, and Mombasa with 37 cases.
As of Thursday, a total of 1,136 patients were admitted in various health facilities, while 4,825 patients were under the Home Based Isolation and Care program.
One hundred and sixteen patients were in the ICU, with 30 on ventilatory support and 57 on supplemental oxygen.
The Ministry of Health reported 1,934 new recoveries from Covid-19, with 1,693 from the Home Based & Isolation Care program and 241 from various health facilities.
As of Thursday, a total of 1,524,555 vaccines had been administered across the country, with 1,024,244 first doses and 500,311 second doses.
