Tusker FC's title defense hopes received a significant boost on July 8, 2021, as they came from behind to beat defending champions Gor Mahia 2-1 at the Ruaraka Complex.
The win, which takes Tusker four points clear at the top of the BetKing Premier League standings, was sealed by Eugene Asike's header in the 90th minute, off a corner kick by Sammy Meja.
