Uhuru's Ukambani Tour: A Multi-Billion Project Showcase

President Uhuru Kenyatta's upcoming Ukambani tour is set to unveil a series of multi-billion projects aimed at achieving his Big 4 Agenda, a key priority before his retirement.

According to sources, the President has lined up a total of 20 projects, with a combined value of over Ksh100 billion, to be showcased during his tour of the three counties in Lower Eastern.

The projects, which include road construction, water supply, and sanitation initiatives, are expected to benefit residents of Machakos, Kitui, and Makueni counties.

Among the projects is the construction of the Tala-Kangundo Koma Road, a 75km stretch valued at Ksh4.4 billion, as well as the upgrading of the Machakos TTC Road to bitumen standards, worth Ksh931 million.

Other notable projects include the construction of the Sultan Hamud Kasikeu-Wautu-Kyambeke-Kikoko Road, valued at Ksh1.4 billion, and the Kali-Kikima-Kitundu and Kikima Utangwa Township Roads, worth Ksh2.8 billion.

President Kenyatta's Ukambani tour is expected to take place soon, with the exact date yet to be announced.
