On a busy roundabout in Kenya, a traffic officer was caught off guard when a thief snatched his phone while he was on a call.
The incident was captured on camera by an onlooker and has been making the rounds on social media.
According to the timestamp on the video, the incident occurred at around 5:00 pm in early July.
The officer, who was directing traffic at the time, momentarily stopped to take the call and was left vulnerable to the theft.
As the thief rode away on a motorbike, the officer was left to deal with the aftermath of the incident.
