On July 7, 2021, police in Kenya launched a manhunt for Corporal Caroline Kangogo, a prime suspect in the murder of two people, including a fellow police officer.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Corporal Kangogo is accused of luring a man to Dedamax Hotel in Kimbo, Juja, where she allegedly killed him in cold blood.
The victim's body was found on the bed, and Corporal Kangogo was seen fleeing the scene at midnight.
She is also wanted for the murder of another man in Nakuru.
Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti warned the public, particularly men, to be on the lookout for the rogue officer, who is considered armed and dangerous.
