July 7, 2021 - Detectives are intensifying their search for a rogue police officer, Corporal Caroline Kangogo, who has gone on a killing spree in Kenya.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Kangogo is suspected of shooting and killing Police Constable John Ogweno in Nakuru, and has now killed another man in cold blood in Juja, Kiambu County.
The latest victim, identified as Peter Ndwiga Njiru, 32, was lured to Dedamax Hotel in Kimbo, Juja, where Kangogo shot him twice in the head at point-blank range.
After the killing, Kangogo paid for the room and told the hotel attendant that she had gone to buy toothpaste, before making her escape.
The man's lifeless body was found the next morning, and detectives have increased their manhunt for Kangogo, who is armed with a loaded Ceska pistol.
DCI said in a statement: 'Detectives are looking for a female Police Officer who has gone berserk and is on a killing spree.'
