July 6, 2021, will be remembered as a special day for Lulu Hassan, a renowned Citizen TV Kiswahili news anchor. She has finally made her debut in a product advertisement, a milestone many of her fans have been eagerly waiting for.
Her fans have been waiting for so long to see her featured in product advertisements, just like former news anchors Janet Mbugua and Terryanne Chebet. The wait is finally over, as Lulu has been featured in an eye-catching advert by one of the cloth softener manufacturing companies.
Her husband, Rashid Abdallah, was also featured in the love-filled advert. The couple co-anchors the Saturday 7pm Citizen TV Kiswahili news bulletin and co-hosts the widely watched lifestyle show Mawaidha na Bi Msafwari.
The couple also owns a popular film production house, Jiffy Pictures, which has produced sensational TV movie series such as Zora and Aziza.
Her production skills have earned her recognition, including the Best Producer of TV Dramas in the Women in Film Awards 2021 for her work on Maria.
When she is not at her TV job or running the family company, Lulu is at home watching over their three children.
