Police Hunt for Female Cop Suspected of Murder

On July 5, 2021, a gruesome murder took place in a hotel room in Kimbo, Kiambu County. The body of Peter Ndwiga was found with a bullet wound on the head, and one spent cartridge 9mm was recovered from the scene.

According to police, Ndwiga had booked a room at the hotel on Monday, July 5, at around 4:30pm, accompanied by an unidentified woman, later confirmed to be Corporal Caroline Kangogo.

Surveillance footage obtained by police shows the deceased, dressed in maroon khaki pants, walking into the hotel with Kangogo, who was dressed in a yellow hoodie.

Police have recovered blood-stained Pesapal ATM receipts in Kangogo's name, which she used to clear a Sh3,020 bill at the hotel.

On Monday, July 5, 2021, a police constable, John Ogweno, was found dead in his car in Nakuru, with a bullet wound on the head and one empty cartridge of 9mm recovered at the scene.

Police are urging members of the public, especially men, to be on the lookout for Kangogo, who is described as armed and dangerous, and is believed to be luring men to their deaths.
