Published on July 6, 2021, Spain's remarkable unbeaten streak of 13 games in all tournaments is put to the test as they face Italian giants in the Euro 2020 semi-finals.
Luis Enrique's men have drawn six times in their previous 13 games, but their recent form has been impressive, with a 5-0 thrashing of Slovakia in their final group game and a 5-3 win over Croatia in the last 16.
However, their quarter-final match against Switzerland was a nail-biting affair, with Spain needing extra time and penalties to send the Swiss packing.
Italy, on the other hand, has a poor head-to-head record against Spain, with only one win in their last eight meetings.
But the Italians did manage to beat Spain out of Euro 2016 with a 2-0 triumph in the round of 16 at Stade de France, Paris.
Italy will be without Leonardo Spinazzola on Tuesday after the full-back broke his Achilles tendon against Belgium.
Spain, meanwhile, has no injury concerns, but Luis Enrique may opt to make changes to his starting XI after each of Spain's last two games went to extra-time.
