Published on July 6, 2021, a police officer, Corporal Caroline Kangogo, has been on the run after killing a male colleague, Police Constable John Ogweno, in Nakuru County.
Her killing spree continued when she lured a man to Dedamax Hotel in Kimbo, Juja, Kiambu County, at around 4pm on July 5, 2021. She paid for the room and then shot the man in the head at point-blank range.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspect is armed and dangerous and has been on the run since early July 5, 2021. The DCI has cautioned members of the public, especially men, to be on the lookout for the rogue officer.
The man's lifeless body was discovered the next morning, and detectives believe the suspect used a buibui to cover herself to avoid being spotted easily.
“We are cautioning members of the public especially men to be on the lookout for the rogue officer, who is luring men to her trap before killing them. Let nobody trust her or accommodate her since she is armed and dangerous,” the DCI said in a statement.
