On July 6, 2021, at approximately 2:08 PM, a white salon car approached the main gate of Links Estate. The guard on duty was approached by the driver, who signaled for him to speak to someone in the backseat instead.

The guard, following procedure, asked the driver to explain their intentions. However, the driver and the two passengers in the backseat seemed reluctant to communicate.

One of the passengers, a woman in the middle, appeared to be trying to convey a message to the guard, but struggled to do so.

After a brief exchange, the guard stepped back, stating that he couldn't assist them without a clear understanding of their purpose. The woman then requested the guard to move closer, and as he did, she begged him to come nearer.

As the guard hesitated, the woman threw a cloth over his face, attempting to drug him. However, the guard reacted quickly, protecting his face and then running away to raise the alarm.

The kidnappers fled the scene when they realized their plan had failed.

"We responded to the scene and, after about 10-12 minutes, the guard was found unconscious. We rushed him to the hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment," said a police officer involved in the incident.
